This bed is made out of Sappy Walnut. Has four storage drawers under the bed, two on each side, and is also designed so you can still put a nightstand right next to it and the drawers will still open. The bed has finger pulls hidden on the bottom side of the drawer fronts, so its easy to open, and the drawer guides are side mounted ball bearing guides, rated for 100 pounds. The drawers or sides, appear to be floating in the air, they are 3" off the ground with hidden supports, so they are very strong and sturdy. Over the drawer boxes we place solid 3/4 plywood for you bed to go on that. This bed would go great with 2 of the Danish Modern Inspired Nightstands. We build these to order so this can be made in a Full, Queen, King, or Cal King. Just let us know which one you want. Pictures is queen size and price is for a queen size.

Packaging: we pack each of our pieces in a wood crate, or for the very small stuff (nightstands) we use an over sized double wall cardboard box rated for 275 pounds. we then use a spray in foam around the corners and in critical spots to stabilize and protect our beautiful hand crafted pieces

Shipping is done by a specialized furniture carrier these guys are great, they take very good care of our carefully crafted pieces. Using these guys we can offer both standard delivery (they will bring the piece into the first level entry of the house, or we can offer a white glove delivery (they will bring it into the room, uncrate the piece(s) and remove all the packaging.) Just make a note on time of purchase that you would like to look into the white glove and we will get a quote for you on that.
